DTC P2511-149: ECM/PCM Power Relay Sense Circuit Intermittent: Procedure
- CHECK BATTERY TERMINAL (CONTACT PROBLEM)
- Check the connection of the auxiliary battery terminal.
OK
The terminal is connected securely and there is no contact problem.
NG → CONNECT SECURELY
OK: Go to next step
- Check the connection of the auxiliary battery terminal.
- CHECK CONNECTOR CONNECTION CONDITION (HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU CONNECTOR)
- Check the connections of the hybrid vehicle control ECU connectors.
OK
The connectors are connected securely and there are no contact problems.
NG → CONNECT SECURELY
OK: Go to next step
- Check the connections of the hybrid vehicle control ECU connectors.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU - IGCT2 RELAY)
- Turn the power switch off.
- Remove the IGCT2 relay from the engine room No. 2 relay block.
- Disconnect connector A76 from the hybrid vehicle control ECU.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance
Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition A76-2 (+B2) - Engine room No. 2 relay block IGCT2 relay terminal 3 Power switch off Below 1 Ω A76-1 (+B1) - Engine room No. 2 relay block IGCT2 relay terminal 3 Power switch off Below 1 Ω
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK FOR INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS
- Check for intermittent problems. Refer to CHECK FOR INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS

- Check the connection and terminal contact pressure of connectors and wire harnesses between the hybrid vehicle control ECU and the engine room No. 2 relay block.
- When the power switch is on (READY), jiggle the connectors and wire harnesses between the hybrid vehicle control ECU and the engine room No. 2 relay block.
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE MALFUNCTIONING PARTS, COMPONENT AND AREA

- Check for intermittent problems. Refer to CHECK FOR INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS
