DTC B14F5: Overcurrent Detected in Seat Heater: Procedure

1. Check for DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR .

A: Go to next step 

1. Disconnect the f14 ECU connector.

2. Disconnect the f15 seatback cover connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   f14-1 (B) - f15-1 (B)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   f14-1 (B) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   f14-5 (E) - f15-3 (E)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   f14-5 (E) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   f14-1 (B) - f14-5 (E)	Always	10 kΩ or higher

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

OK: Go to next step 

1. Replace the seat climate control ECU LH with a new one or normally operating one, and check if a DTC is output.

   OK

   DTC is not output

NG → See step   8 

OK → See step   4 

1. Disconnect the f7 ECU connector.

2. Disconnect the f3 seatback cover connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   f7-1 (B) - f3-1 (B)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   f7-1 (B) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   f7-5 (E) - f3-3 (E)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   f7-5 (E) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   f7-1 (B) - f7-5 (E)	Always	10 kΩ or higher

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

OK: Go to next step 

1. Replace the seat climate control ECU RH with a new one or normally operating one, and check if a DTC is output.

   OK

   DTC is not output

NG → See step   9 

OK → See step   7
