DTC B256E: Lock in Quarter Window Motor LH Circuit: Procedure

1. Remove the power window regulator motor assembly LH.

2. Apply battery voltage and check operation of the power window regulator motor.

   OK

   Measurement Condition	Specified Condition
   Battery positive (+) → 1 (D) Battery negative (-) → 2 (U)	Motor gear rotates clockwise
   Battery positive (+) → 2 (U) Battery negative (-) → 1 (D)	Motor gear rotates counterclockwise

   *2	Motor Gear
   *3	Clockwise
   *4	Counterclockwise

NG → REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH 

OK: Go to next step 

1. Disconnect the Q19 and Q33 connectors.

2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   Q33-1 (QWL+) - Q33-5 (QWL-)	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   Q33-1 (QWL+) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   Q33-5 (QWL-) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

OK → REPLACE SLIDING ROOF CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY
