DTC B2565: Difference between RH and LH Luggage Door Drive Motor Pulse: Procedure
- INSPECT LUGGAGE DOOR DRIVE GEAR ASSEMBLY RH (LUGGAGE MOTOR RH)
- Remove the Luggage door drive gear assembly RH (luggage motor RH).
- Apply battery voltage and check operation of the luggage motor.
OK
Measurement Condition Specified Condition Battery positive (+) → 3
Battery negative (-) → 1Motor gear rotates counterclockwise Battery positive (+) → 1
Battery negative (-) → 3Motor gear rotates clockwise - Connect an electrical tester DC 400 A probe to the wire harness of the motor.NOTE:
Match the arrow mark of the probe with the direction of the current flow.
- Measure the current according to the value(s) in the table below.NOTE:
Make sure to perform the inspection after the motor cools down sufficiently. Otherwise the result may not meet the specified condition due to protection circuit operation in the motor.
Standard Current
Measurement Condition Specified Condition Battery positive (+) → 1
Battery negative (-) → 3Below 5 A TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION*1 Component without harness connected
