DTC B2564: Difference between RH and LH Roof Drive Motor Pulse: Procedure
- INSPECT SLIDING ROOF DRIVE GEAR ASSEMBLY RH (ROOF MOTOR RH)
- Remove the sliding roof drive gear assembly RH (roof motor RH).
- Apply battery voltage and check operation of the roof motor.

Measurement Condition Condition Battery positive (+) → 4 (RMR+)
Battery negative (-) → 8 (RMR-)Motor gear rotates counterclockwise Battery positive (+) → 8 (RMR-)
Battery negative (-) → 4 (RMR+)Motor gear rotates clockwise - Connect an electrical tester DC 400 A probe to the wire harness of the motor.NOTE:
Match the arrow mark of the probe with the direction of the current flow.
- Measure the current according to the value(s) in the table below.NOTE:
Make sure to perform the inspection after the motor cools down sufficiently. Otherwise the result may not meet the specified condition due to protection circuit operation in the motor.
