DTC B2559: Motor Lock in Luggage Door Drive Motor(LH): Procedure

1. Remove the luggage door drive gear assembly LH (luggage motor LH).

2. Apply battery voltage and check operation of the luggage motor.

   OK

   Measurement Condition	Specified Condition
   Battery positive (+) → Terminal 3 Battery negative (-) → Terminal 1	Motor gear rotates clockwise
   Battery positive (+) → Terminal 1 Battery negative (-) → Terminal 3	Motor gear rotates counterclockwise

3. Connect an electrical tester DC 400 A probe to the wire harness of the motor.
   NOTE:

   Match the arrow mark of the probe with the direction of the current flow.

4. Measure the current according to the value(s) in the table below.
   NOTE:

   Make sure to perform the inspection after the motor cools down sufficiently. Otherwise the result may not meet the specified condition due to protection circuit operation in the motor.

   Standard Current

   Measurement Condition	Specified Condition
   Battery positive (+) → Terminal 1 Battery negative (-) → Terminal 3	0.3 to 5 A

OK → REPLACE SLIDING ROOF CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY
