  1. OUTLINE OF THE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY

    1. Meter/Gauge
      Item Detail
      Speedometer Indicates the vehicle speed based on a signal received from the Skid Control ECU. (Direct Line)
      Tachometer Indicates the engine speed based on a signal received from the ECM. (Direct Line)
      Fuel receiver gauge Indicates the fuel level based on a fuel level signal received from the fuel sender gauge (main and sub) (Direct Line) and a fuel injection signal and an ST signal from the ECM. (CAN-BEAN)
      Engine coolant temperature receiver gauge Indicates the engine coolant temperature based on a signal received from the ECM. (CAN-BEAN)
    2. Warning or Indicator
      Item Detail
      Turn Receives a turn signal from the turn signal flasher. (Direct Line)
      Beam Receives a beam signal from the main body ECU RH (Cowl Side Junction Block RH). (BEAN)
      Charge Receives a charge signal from the ECM. (CAN-BEAN)
      MIL (Check engine) Receives a MIL (check engine indicator light) signal from the ECM. (Direct Line)
      Door Open door indicator light comes on receiving a door condition signal from the main body ECU RH (Cowl Side Junction Block RH). (BEAN)
      Driver side seat belt Receives a driver side seat belt signal from the center airbag sensor assembly. (CAN-BEAN)
      Front passenger side seat belt Receives a front passenger side seat belt signal from the center airbag sensor assembly (CAN-BEAN) and transmits a front passenger side seat belt condition signal to the integration control and panel assembly*1 or display and navigation module display*2. (Direct Line)
      Head*3 Receives a headlight signal from the main body ECU RH (Cowl Side Junction Block RH). (BEAN)
      Tail*4 Receives a taillight signal from the main body ECU RH (Cowl Side Junction Block RH). (BEAN)
      Shift Receives a shift condition signal from the park/neutral position switch and the ECM. (CAN-BEAN)
      Fuel Receives a fuel signal from the fuel sender gauges (main and sub). (Direct Line)
      ABS Receives an ABS signal from the skid control ECU. (CAN-BEAN)
      Slip Receives a SLIP signal from the skid control ECU. (CAN-BEAN)
      Brake Receives a BRAKE signal from the skid control ECU. (CAN-BEAN)
      VSC OFF Receives a VSC OFF signal from the skid control ECU. (CAN-BEAN)
      Cruise Receives a cruise signal from the ECM. (CAN-BEAN)
      SRS Receives an SRS signal from the center airbag sensor assembly. (CAN-BEAN)
      EPS Receives an EPS signal from the EPS ECU. (CAN-BEAN)
      PCS*5 Receives a PCS signal from the seat belt control ECU. (CAN-BEAN)
      Front fog Receives a front fog signal from the main body ECU RH (Cowl side junction block ECU RH). (BEAN)
      Master Master warning light comes on when the warning display appears or the oil maintenance resetting procedure has finished.
      ETCS snow*6 Receives an ETCS snow signal from the ECM. (CAN-BEAN)
      ECT snow*7 Receives an ECT snow signal from the ECM. (CAN-BEAN)
      ECT power Receives an ECT power signal from the ECM. (CAN-BEAN)
      Tire pressure*8 Receives a tire pressure signal from the tire pressure warning ECU. (BEAN)
      AFS OFF*9 Receives an AFS OFF signal from the AFS ECU. (BEAN)
      Sonar*10 Receives a sonar signal from the clearance warning ECU. (BEAN)

    3. Multi-information Display

      HINT: 

      • The multi-information display is located in the upper center of the combination meter assembly.
      • The display shows a message or animation for each of the functions described in the table below.

      Cruise information display Outside temperature Seven types of information (outside temperature, average fuel consumption, average fuel consumption after refueling, average vehicle speed, possible running distance, instant fuel consumption, and A/T shift position) can be displayed.
      The display can be switched by using the DISP switch.

      Warning display Door warning Interrupts the multi-information display immediately when a warning occurs.
      Each system warning
      Satellite switch set In the satellite switch set mode, 6 functions (Sonar ON/OFF*2, Tire pressure Initial/Tire select Main/2nd*3, AFS ON/OFF*4, Power mirror control ON/OFF*5, SPEED indicator, TACH indicator) can be displayed.
      The function can be changed using the satellite switch set (RH switch, ON/OFF switch, LH switch).
      Parking assist-sensor display*2 Displays the location of an obstacle and the approximate distance between the vehicle and the obstacle and displays malfunction warning messages about sensor freezing or presence of dirt on the sensors.
      Dynamic radar cruise display*6 Displays the operating condition of the dynamic radar cruise control.
      Metaltop display Displays the condition of the metaltop or the metaltop warning message.

    4. ODO/TRIP Display
      Item Display
      Oil maintenance reminder*1
      • An oil maintenance reminder indication will display to inform the driver to change the engine oil depending on the vehicle driving distance and to perform the oil maintenance reminder resetting procedure.
      • Displays the mode while in the oil maintenance reminder reset procedure.
      ODO/TRIP display This display switches between odometer, trip meter A, and trip meter B in accordance with the operation of the TRIP meter reset knob.

  3. SATELLITE SWITCH SET 
    1. By using the satellite switch set (RH switch, ON/OFF switch, and LH switch), 6 different switch functions can be displayed and changed (Tire pressure*1, Sonar*2, AFS*3, Power mirror control*4, SPEED indicator, TACH indicator).

      HINT: 

      • When the engine switch is on (IG) while driving at 3 mph (5 km/h) or less, the switch except for SONAR can be displayed as shown in the illustration below.
      • The switch functions displayed are changed in the order shown in the illustration using the satellite switch set (RH switch, and LH switch). The function can be set using the ON/OFF switch.
      • The display automatically returns to the previous display 6 seconds after the satellite switch set is operated. It will return to the previous display immediately if the DISP switch is operated.

    2. SPEED and TACH indicator setting
      1. SPEED and TACH indicator setting
        • The SPEED indicator and TACH indicator come on when the vehicle speed or engine speed reaches the speed set using the satellite switch. The setting ranges of these indicators are shown in the table that follows.
        • Vehicle speed or engine speed can be set using the satellite switch.
        • These indicators consist of yellow and red dots that are arranged to form indicator rings.
        • When the vehicle reaches the set vehicle speed or engine speed while driving, the red and yellow dots will turn on at the same time to cause amber light to illuminate the indicator ring.
        • However, if the vehicle or engine speed is set to the maximum speed of the indicator setting range, and the speed reaches this set speed, only red light will illuminate the indicator ring.

  4. LED INITIAL CHECK 
    1. The illumination function of the warning, indicator, or reminder light listed below can be confirmed by turning the engine switch on (IG).

      Indicator or Warning Light Specified Condition
      Brake, ABS, Slip, VSC OFF, Tire pressure warning*1, PCS*2, AFS OFF*3, Master warning light Indicator or warning light comes on for about 3 seconds after turning the engine switch on (IG).
      SRS Warning light comes on for about 6 seconds after turning the engine switch on (IG).
      Charge, MIL (Check engine), EPS Indicator or warning light comes on after turning the engine switch on (IG).
