DTC B256D: Lock in Quarter Window Motor RH Circuit: Procedure

1. Remove the power window regulator motor assembly RH.

2. Apply battery voltage and check operation of the power window regulator motor.

   OK

   Measurement Condition	Specified Condition
   Battery positive (+) → 1 (D) Battery negative (-) → 2 (U)	Motor gear rotates counterclockwise
   Battery positive (+) → 2 (U) Battery negative (-) → 1 (D)	Motor gear rotates clockwise

   *2	Motor Gear
   *3	Clockwise
   *4	Counterclockwise

NG → REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY RH 

OK: Go to next step 

1. Disconnect the P44 and P54 connectors.

2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   P54-12 (QWR+) - P54-11 (QWR-)	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   P54-12 (QWR+) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   P54-11 (QWR-) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

OK → REPLACE SLIDING ROOF CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY
