DTC B2566: Quarter Window Switch RH Abnormal Operation: Procedure
- READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (RH QUARTER WINDOW SW)
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the engine switch on (IG).
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Retractable Hardtop / Data List.
- Read the Data List according to the display on the Techstream.RETRACTABLE HARDTOP (SLIDING ROOF CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY)
Tester Display Measurement Item/Range Normal Condition Diagnostic Note RH Quarter Window SW Quarter window limit switch RH signal/ON or OFF ON: Quarter window limit switch RH on (quarter window glass not fully closed)
OFF: Quarter window limit switch RH off (quarter window glass fully closed)- OK
The Techstream display changes according to condition as shown in the table.

OK → REPLACE SLIDING ROOF CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY
- CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY RH (WINDOW REGULATOR LIMIT SWITCH)
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 6 (LMT) - 5 (E) Quarter window glass RH not fully closed → fully closed Below 1 Ω → 10 kΩ or higher 6 (LMT) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION*1 Component with harness connected
(Power Window Regulator Motor Assembly RH)
NG → REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY RH (WINDOW REGULATOR LIMIT SWITCH)
OK: Go to next step
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR RH - SLIDING ROOF CONTROL ECU)
- Disconnect the P44 and P53 connectors.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
