DTC B2536: Luggage Courtesy Switch Malfunction: Description

The courtesy switch that is part of the luggage door closer assembly detects whether the luggage door is closed and sends a signal to the sliding roof control ECU assembly. The sliding roof control ECU assembly determines the permission condition and permits or prohibits metaltop operation according to the signal from the courtesy switch that is part of the luggage door closer assembly and luggage courtesy switch information received via BEAN communication.
