Rear Brake Pad, Brake Caliper & Brake Rotor: Disassembly: Disassembly

REMOVE CALIPER SUPPORT BRACKET
1. Remove the caliper support bracket from the rear cylinder assembly.

REMOVE REAR DISC BRAKE CYLINDER SLIDE BUSHING
1. Remove the cylinder slide bushing from the cylinder assembly rear.
REMOVE REAR DISC BRAKE BUSHING DUST BOOT
1. Remove the bushing dust boot from the cylinder assembly rear.
REMOVE REAR DISC BRAKE PISTON
1. Place a piece of cloth between the piston and the rear cylinder assembly.

2. Use compressed air to remove the piston from the rear cylinder assembly.
  WARNING:
  Do not place your fingers in front of the brake piston when using compressed air.
  
  NOTE:
  Do not spatter the brake fluid.
REMOVE CYLINDER BOOT
1. Remove the cylinder boot from the piston or rear cylinder assembly.
REMOVE PISTON SEAL
1. Using a screwdriver, remove the piston seal from the rear cylinder assembly.

  NOTE:
  Do not damage the inner cylinder and the cylinder groove.
  
  HINT:
  
  Tape the screwdriver tip before using.

REMOVE REAR DISC BRAKE BLEEDER PLUG
REMOVE REAR DISC
1. Put matchmarks on the rear disc and the axle hub.

2. Remove the read disc.
REMOVE PARKING BRAKE SHOE ADJUSTING HOLE PLUG
