DTC P2602-767: Oil Pump Control Circuit Low: Procedure

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU - OIL PUMP WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY) 
    1. Disconnect connector A58 from the hybrid vehicle control ECU.
    2. Disconnect connector from the oil pump with motor assembly.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      A58-26 (OPST) or A15-2 (OPST) - Body ground Power switch off 10 kΩ or higher
      TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION

      *1 Front view of wire harness connector
      (to Hybrid Vehicle Control ECU)
      *2 Front view of wire harness connector
      (to Oil Pump with Motor Assembly)
    4. Connect the oil pump with motor assembly connector.
    5. Connect the hybrid vehicle control ECU connector.

    NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    OK: Go to next step 

  2. INSPECT OIL PUMP WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect connector from the oil pump with motor assembly.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      A15-2 (OPST) - A15-1 (OPG) Power switch off 10 kΩ or higher
      TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION

      *1 Component without harness connected
      (Oil Pump with Motor Assembly)
    3. Connect the oil pump with motor assembly connector.

    NG → See step   3 

    OK → See step   4 

  3. REPLACE OIL PUMP WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY. Refer to COMPONENTS 
  4. REPLACE HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU. Refer to COMPONENTS
