- CHECK CONNECTOR CONNECTION CONDITION (HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU CONNECTOR) See step 3

OK: Go to next step
- CHECK CONNECTOR CONNECTION CONDITION (BATTERY THERMOMETER SENSOR CONNECTOR)
- Check the connections of the battery thermometer sensor connector.

The connectors are connected securely and there are no contact problems.
NG → CONNECT SECURELY
OK: Go to next step
- Check the connections of the battery thermometer sensor connector.
- INSPECT BATTERY THERMOMETER SENSOR
- Disconnect connector M14 from the battery thermometer sensor.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

(Battery Thermometer Sensor) - Connect the battery thermometer sensor connector.
NG → REPLACE BATTERY THERMOMETER SENSOR
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU - BATTERY THERMOMETER SENSOR)
- Disconnect connector M14 from the battery thermometer sensor.
- Disconnect connector A58 from the hybrid vehicle control ECU.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance (Check for Open)

- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

- Turn the power switch off.
- Connect the battery thermometer sensor connector.
- Connect the hybrid vehicle control ECU connector.
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK FOR INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS
- Check for intermittent problems. Refer toCHECK FOR INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS .
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE MALFUNCTIONING PARTS, COMPONENT AND AREA
