DTC B124D: Lost Communication with AFS LIN; DTC B2432: Lost Communication with Automatic High Beam Sensor: Procedure

1. Clear the DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR .
2. Check for DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR .

   OK

   DTC B124D or B2432 is not output.

NG → See step   2 

OK → See step   5 

1. Disconnect the A61 AFS ECU (headlight swivel ECU assembly) connector.
2. Disconnect the P9 inner rear view mirror assembly connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   A61-11 (RH+) - P9-12 (LIN)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   P9-12 (LIN) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

OK: Go to next step 

1. Reconnect the A61 AFS ECU (headlight swivel ECU assembly) connector.
2. Connect an oscilloscope to the P9 inner rear view mirror assembly connector.

3. Check the waveform.
