Luggage Compartment Door Open Switch Circuit: Procedure

  1. INSPECT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR STRIKER (DOOR UNLOCK SWITCH)

    1. Disconnect the X2 striker connector.
    2. Measure the resistance of the striker.

      Standard resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1 - 2 Pushed Below 1 Ω
      1 - 2 Not pushed 10 kΩ or higher

    NG → REPLACE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR STRIKER 

    OK: Go to next step 

  2. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR STRIKER - MAIN BODY ECU LH AND BODY GROUND)

    1. Disconnect the X2 striker connector.
    2. Disconnect the V3 ECU connector.
    3. Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.

      Standard resistance

      Tester Connection Specified Condition
      X2-1 - V3-11 (BDCY) Below 1 Ω
      X2-2 - Body ground Below 1 Ω
      X2-1 - Body ground 10 kΩ or higher

    NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    OK → PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN ON  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
