Hazard Warning Switch Circuit: Procedure

  1. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (HAZARD WARNING SWITCH - TURN SIGNAL FLASHER AND BODY GROUND) 
    1. Disconnect the K46 and K99 display connectors.
    2. Disconnect the K25 flasher connector.
    3. Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.

      Standard resistance

      Tester Connection Specified Condition
      K99-2 (HAZ) - K25-8 (HAZ) Below 1 Ω
      K99-2 (HAZ) or K25-8 (HAZ) - Body ground 10 kΩ or higher
      K46-10 (GND1) - Body ground Below 1 Ω

    NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR 

    OK → REPLACE PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
