Door Courtesy Switch Circuit: Procedure
- READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM
- Check the DATA LIST for proper functioning of the courtesy switch.BODY (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU)

Door courtesy light switch is normal.
NG → REPLACE DOOR COURTESY SWITCH (FRONT LH)
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (DOOR COURTESY SWITCH (FRONT LH) - MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU)
- Disconnect the U1 ECU connector.
- Disconnect the V7 switch connector.
- Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.
Standard resistance
Tester Connection Specified Condition U1-14 (DCTY) - V7-1 Below 1 Ω U1-14 (DCTY) or V7-1 - Body ground 10 kΩ or higher
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
OK → PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
- INSPECT DOOR COURTESY SWITCH (FRONT RH)
Inspection. Refer to INSPECTION
OK
Door courtesy light switch is normal.
NG → REPLACE DOOR COURTESY SWITCH (FRONT RH)
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (DOOR COURTESY SWITCH (FRONT RH) - MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU)
- Disconnect the K68 ECU connector.
- Disconnect the U4 switch connector.
- Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.
Standard resistance
Tester Connection Specified Condition K68-23 (PCTY) - U4-1 Below 1 Ω K68-23 (PCTY) or U4-1 - Body ground 10 kΩ or higher
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
OK → PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
- INSPECT DOOR COURTESY SWITCH (REAR LH OR REAR RH)
Inspection. Refer to INSPECTION
OK
Door courtesy light switch is normal.
NG → REPLACE DOOR COURTESY SWITCH (REAR LH OR REAR RH)
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (DOOR COURTESY SWITCH (REAR LH OR REAR RH) - COWL SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK RH OR MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU)
- Check the wire harness between the cowl side junction block RH and door courtesy switch (rear LH).

- Check the wire harness between the cowl side junction block RH and door courtesy switch (rear LH).
