DTC B2417: Headlight Beam Level Control Motor LH Malfunction; DTC B2418: Headlight Beam Level Control Motor RH Malfunction: Procedure
- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the engine switch on (IG) and turn the Techstream on.
- Select the item below in the ACTIVE TEST and then check the motor operation.AFS (AFS ECU)

Headlight beam leveling control actuator is operated.

- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (HEADLIGHT BEAM LEVEL CONTROL MOTOR - AFS ECU)

- Disconnect the B11 and B2 headlight assembly connectors.
- Disconnect the A28 AFS ECU connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.
Standard resistance

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- INSPECT HEADLIGHT LEVELING MOTOR (LH or RH)
- Measure the resistance of the connector.
