DTC B2412: Headlight Swivel Motor LH Malfunction; DTC B2413: Headlight Swivel Motor RH Malfunction: Procedure
- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the engine switch on (IG) and turn the Techstream on.
- Select the item below in the ACTIVE TEST and then check that the motor operates.AFS (AFS ECU)

Swivel actuator operates.

- INSPECT HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY

- Disconnect the B11 and B2 headlight assembly connectors.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance

Measure the resistance after the headlight has cooled.
NG → REPLACE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY - AFS ECU)

- Disconnect the A28 AFS ECU.
- Disconnect the B11 and B2 headlight connectors.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

OK: Go to next step
- CHECK AFS ECU
- Disconnect the B11 and B2 headlight connectors.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

- REPLACE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY
- Temporarily replace the headlight assembly with a new or normally functioning one.
- Check that headlight assembly operates.
OK
Return to normal operation.
NG → REPLACE AFS ECU
OK → END
