AFS OFF Switch Circuit: Procedure

  1. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the engine switch to the on (IG) position and turn the Techstream on.
    3. Select the items below in the Data List, and read the displays on the Techstream.
      D-SEAT SW (INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY)

      Item Measurement Item / Display (Range) Normal Condition Diagnostic Note
      AFS OFF SW AFS OFF switch / ON or OFF ON: AFS switch ON
      OFF: AFS switch OFF      		 -

    NG → REPLACE INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY 

    OK: Go to next step 

  2. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the engine switch to the on (IG) position and turn the Techstream on.
    3. Select the items below in the Data List, and read the displays on the Techstream.
      AFS (AFS ECU)

      Item Measurement Item / Display (Range) Normal Condition Diagnostic Note
      AFS OFF Switch AFS OFF switch / ON or OFF ON: AFS switch ON
      OFF: AFS switch OFF      		 -

    NG → PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE 

    OK → REPLACE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY
