Drivability Problem: Procedure

  1. CHECK DTC 
    1. Check for DTC. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR .

      OK

      DTC is not output.

    NG → See step   6 

    OK: Go to next step 

  2. TEST MODE INSPECTION (MULTI INFORMATION DISPLAY) 
    1. Enter test mode. Refer to TEST MODE PROCEDURE .
    2. When switching to test mode, check if the test mode is displayed on the multi-information display of the combination meter.

      Result Proceed to
      Test mode is not displayed A
      Test mode is displayed B

    B → See step   4 

    A: Go to next step 

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (CAN COMMUNICATION LINE) 
    1. Disconnect the A49 front active stabilizer control ECU connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance

      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      A49-1 (LCN+) - A49-8 (LCN-) Engine switch off 54 to 69 Ω
      A49-2 (CANH) - A49-3 (CANL) Engine switch off

    NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    OK → See step   8 

  4. TEST MODE INSPECTION 
    1. Perform the test mode inspection. Refer to TEST MODE PROCEDURE .

    NEXT: Go to next step 

  5. CHECK TEST MODE DTC 
    1. Check test mode DTC. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR .

      OK

      DTC is not output.

    NG → See step   7 

    OK → END (NORMAL) 

  6. GO TO FLOWCHART OF EACH DTC. Refer to  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART 
  7. GO TO DTC CHART. Refer to  TEST MODE PROCEDURE 
  8. GO TO METER / GAUGE SYSTEM. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING
