Luggage Compartment Door Open Switch Circuit: Procedure
- INSPECT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR STRIKER ASSEMBLY (DOOR UNLOCK SWITCH)
- Disconnect the X2 striker connector.
- Measure the resistance of the striker.
Standard resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 1 - 2 Pushed Below 1 Ω 1 - 2 Not pushed 10 kΩ or higher
NG → REPLACE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR STRIKER ASSEMBLY
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR STRIKER ASSEMBLY - COWL SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK ECU LH AND BODY GROUND)

- Disconnect the X2 striker connector.
- Disconnect the V3 ECU connector.
- Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.
Standard resistance
Tester Connection Specified Condition X2-1 - V3-11 (BDCY) Below 1 Ω X2-2 - Body ground Below 1 Ω
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
OK → PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN ON PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
