DTC P3086-184: Short Circuit in DC / DC Converter EMPS: Procedure

1. Turn the power switch off.
2. Remove the service plug grip. Refer to PRECAUTION .
3. Disconnect low voltage connector S69 from the power steering converter.

4. Turn the power switch on (IG).
5. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   HINT: 

   Turning the power switch on (IG) with the service plug grip removed causes an interlock switch system DTC (P0A0D-350) to be set.

   Standard voltage

   Tester Connection	Switch Condition	Specified Condition
   S69-6 (DDOK) - Body ground	Power switch on (IG)	Below 1 V

NG → See step   2 

OK → See step   3 

1. Turn the power switch off.
2. Disconnect connector A75 from the hybrid vehicle control ECU.
3. Turn the power switch on (IG).
4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   HINT: 

   Turning the power switch on (IG) with the service plug grip removed causes an interlock switch system DTC (P0A0D-350) to be set.

   S69-6 (DDOK) - Body ground	Power switch on (IG)	Below 1 V

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
