DTC P0A10-592: DC / DC Converter Status Circuit High Input: Procedure
- CHECK HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU (CHECK WAVEFORM)
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the power switch on (IG).
- Connect an oscilloscope between the battery pack wire terminals specified in the table below, and measure the waveform.

The waveform appears as shown in the illustration.
HINT:
- For the removal and installation procedures related to inspection of the waveform of the battery pack wire connector. Refer to REMOVAL .
- Perform this inspection with the battery pack wire connected.

- CLEAR DTC
- Select the following menu items: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Trouble Codes.
- Read and record the DTCs and freeze frame data.
- Select the following menu items: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Trouble Codes.
- Clear DTCs and freeze frame data.
NEXT: Go to next step
- CHECK DTC OUTPUT (HV)
- Select the following menu items: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Trouble Codes.
- Check if DTCs are output.

- Disconnect the battery pack wire connector.
- Turn the power switch on (IG).
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition zR2-7 (VLO) - Body ground Power switch on (IG) Below 1 V NOTE:Turning the power switch on (IG) with the battery pack wire connector disconnected causes other DTCs to be stored. Clear the DTCs after performing this inspection.

- CHECK CONNECTOR CONNECTION CONDITION (HYBRID VEHICLE CONVERTER CONNECTOR) WARNING:
Be sure to wear insulated gloves.
- Turn the power switch off.
- Remove the service plug grip. Refer to REMOVAL
.NOTE:
After removing the service plug grip, do not turn the power switch on (READY), unless instructed by the repair information because this may cause a malfunction.
- Check the connection of the low voltage connector of the hybrid vehicle converter.

The connector is connected securely and there are no contact problems.
HINT:
For the removal and installation procedures related to inspection of the connection of the low voltage connector of the hybrid vehicle converter. Refer to REMOVAL .

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BATTERY PACK WIRE CONNECTOR - HYBRID VEHICLE CONVERTER)
- Disconnect the low voltage connector from the hybrid vehicle converter.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance
Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition zR2-7 (VLO) - Other terminals Power switch off 10 kΩ or higher z35-3 (VLO) - Other terminals Power switch off 10 kΩ or higher
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK → See step 10
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU - BATTERY PACK WIRE CONNECTOR)
- Turn the power switch off.
- Disconnect connector A74 from the hybrid vehicle control ECU.
- Turn the power switch on (IG).
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
