- Check for DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR

- READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (REAR SUNSHADE SWITCH)
- Use the Data List to check if the rear sunshade switch is functioning properly.CENTER CONSOLE SWITCH
Tester Display Measurement Item/Range Normal Condition Diagnostic Note Rear Shade Switch Rear sunshade switch / ON or OFF ON: Rear sunshade switch is pressed
OFF: Rear sunshade switch is not pressed- OK
Rear sunshade raises or lowers.

- Use the Data List to check if the rear sunshade switch is functioning properly.
- INSPECT NO. 2 CONSOLE SWITCH
- Disconnect the No. 2 console switch connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance
Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition 8 - 12 Rear sunshade switch is pushed Below 200 Ω 8 - 12 Rear sunshade switch is not pushed 10 kΩ or higher

- GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM. Refer to DTC U1114: Lost Communication with Main Switch Module
- GO TO LIN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM. Refer to DTC U1127: Lost Communication with Center Console Switch ECU
- REPLACE NO. 1 CONSOLE SWITCH. Refer to REMOVAL
- REPLACE NO. 2 CONSOLE SWITCH. Refer to REMOVAL
- REPLACE NO. 1 CONSOLE SWITCH. Refer to REMOVAL
