FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Power Seat): Installation: Installation

HINT: 

Use the same procedures for the LH side and RH side.

1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY 
   1. Place the seat in the cabin.
   2. Connect the connectors under the seat.
   3. Connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.
   4. Operate the power seat switch knob and move the seat to the position farthest forward.
   5. Tighten the 2 bolts on the rear seat track bracket.

      Torque: 37 N*m (377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf) 

      HINT: 

      Tighten the 2 bolts in the order indicated in the illustration.

   6. Operate the power seat switch knob and move the seat to the rearmost position.
   7. Tighten the 2 bolts on the rear seat track bracket.

      Torque: 37 N*m (377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf) 

2. INSTALL REAR INNER SEAT TRACK COVER LH 
3. INSTALL REAR OUTER SEAT TRACK COVER LH 
4. INSTALL FRONT OUTER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER LH 
5. INSTALL FRONT OUTER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER LH 
6. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY 
7. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT 

   Check the SRS warning light. Refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM

8. INSPECT FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY 
   1. Check the power seat operation.
   2. Check the seat heater operation (with seat heater system).
      1. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
      2. Turn the seat heater switch ON.
      3. Wait 5 minutes or more and confirm that the seat surface becomes warm.
