Luggage Compartment Door Opener Main Switch: Removal: Removal

  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    WARNING:

    Wait for 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable to prevent airbag deployment. Refer to PRECAUTION .

  2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH (w/o Illumination)  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 34
  3. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH (w/ Illumination)  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 35
  4. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER RH  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 36
  5. REMOVE SIDE INSTRUMENT PANEL RH  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 37
  6. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 38
  7. REMOVE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 8
  8. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 40
  9. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR OPENER MAIN SWITCH 
    1. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the luggage compartment door opener main switch.
