DTC U0146-594: Lost Communication with Gateway "A"; DTC U0146-827: Lost Communication with Gateway "A": Procedure

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
3. Select the following menu items: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Trouble Codes.
4. Check if DTCs are output.

   Result

   DTC No.	Detection Item
   B1262	A/C ECU not connected
   B1266	Short in instrument panel system bus +B power
   B1267	Short to GND in instrument panel system bus

YES → GO TO MULTIPLEX COMMUNICATION SYSTEM 

NO: Go to next step 

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
3. Check for and record DTCs of all systems by following the prompts on the Techstream screen.
