DTC P3110-139: IGCT Relay Malfunction; DTC P3110-223: IGCT Relay Malfunction: Procedure
- INSPECT INTEGRATION NO. 1 RELAY (IGCT RELAY)
- Remove the integration relay from the engine room R/B No. 1.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance
Tester Connection Specified Condition 1W-1 - 1V-8 10 kΩ or more 1V-5 - 1V-8 10 kΩ or more - Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance
Tester Connection Specified Condition 1W-1 - 1V-8 Below 1 Ω
(Apply battery voltage between 1V-6 and 1V-7)1V-5 - 1V-8 Below 1 Ω
(Apply battery voltage between 1V-6 and 1V-7)
NG → REPLACE INTEGRATION NO. 1 RELAY
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU - ENGINE ROOM R/B NO. 1)
- Disconnect the hybrid vehicle control ECU connector.
- Remove the integration relay from the engine room R/B No. 1.
- Turn the power switch on (IG).
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

NOTE:Turning the power switch on (IG) with the hybrid vehicle control ECU connectors disconnected causes other DTCs to be stored. Clear the DTCs after performing this inspection.
Standard voltage
Tester Connection Specified Condition MREL (A54-21) - Body ground Below 1 V +B1 (A54-46) - Body ground Below 1 V +B2 (A54-23) - Body ground Below 1 V
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK → See step 3
- REPLACE HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU. Refer to COMPONENTS
