Combination Meter: Removal: Removal
- DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL NOTE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Refer to INITIALIZATION .
- REMOVE UPPER STEERING COLUMN COVER
for 2GR-FSE:. Refer to REMOVAL - Step 17
for 1UR-FSE:. Refer to REMOVAL - Step 17
- REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY
- Using a screwdriver, disengage the 5 clips.
HINT:
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
- Remove the instrument cluster finish panel sub-assembly and then disconnect the connector.
- Using a screwdriver, disengage the 5 clips.
- REMOVE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY
- Remove the 4 screws.
- Disconnect the connector and remove the combination meter assembly.
- REMOVE COMBINATION METER GLASS
- Using a screwdriver, disengage the 2 claws and open the cover.
HINT:
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
- Disconnect the 3 connectors.
- Disengage the 7 claws and remove the glass.
- Using a screwdriver, disengage the 2 claws and open the cover.
