Operating Light Control Rheostat Does Not Change Light Brightness: Procedure

Please follow the information. Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING .

If the multiplex communication system is operating normally, proceed to the next step.

NEXT: Go to next step 

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Ignition switch on (IG).
3. Turn the tester ON.
4. Enter following menus: Body Electrical / D-SEAT SW / Data List.
5. Check the values by referring to the table below.
   D-SEAT SW:

   Rheostat Up SW	Rheostat up switch condition	ON: Rheostat up switch is pushed OFF: Rheostat up switch is not pressed	-
   Rheostat Down SW	Rheostat down switch condition	ON: Rheostat down switch is pushed OFF: Rheostat down switch is not pressed	-

   OK

   Switch condition (ON/OFF) can be switched by actual operation.

NG → REPLACE INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY 

OK → REPLACE COMBINATION METER
