Front Passenger Seat Belt Warning Light: Inspection

  1. INSPECT INTEGRATION CONTROL & PANEL (W/O NAVIGATION SYSTEM) 
    1. Disconnect the C4 connector.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard voltage 

      TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHART

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      C4-1 (+B) - Body ground Always 10 to 14 V
      C4-2 (ACC) - Body ground Ignition switch ACC 10 to 14 V
      C4-9 (IG+) - Body ground Ignition switch ON 10 to 14 V
      C4-13 (PAON) - Body ground Ignition switch ON 10 to 14 V

      Standard resistance 

      TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHART

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      C4-7 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
  2. INSPECT MULTI-DISPLAY (W/ NAVIGATION SYSTEM) 
    1. Disconnect the M5 connector.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard voltage 

      TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHART

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      M5-10 (IG) - Body ground Ignition switch ON 10 to 14 V
      MS-2 (ACC) - Body ground Ignition switch ACC 10 to 14 V
      MS-15 (ARON) - Body ground Ignition switch ON, sit on the passenger seat, seat belt is unfastened 10 to 14 V
