Rear Brake Pad, Brake Caliper & Brake Rotor: Installation
- INSTALL REAR DISC BRAKE CYLINDER ASSEMBLY
- Install the rear disc brake cylinder assembly.
NOTE: Install the rear disc brake bush dust boot onto the groove of the rear disc brake cylinder. - INSTALL REAR DISC BRAKE CYLINDER SLIDE PIN NO.1
- Apply the lithium soap base glycol grease to the sliding part and the seal surface of the slide pin.
- Install the rear disc brake cylinder slide pin No.1.
Torque: 43 N*m (440 kgf*cm, 32 ft.*lbf)
- INSTALL REAR DISC BRAKE CYLINDER SLIDE PIN NO.1
- Apply the lithium soap base glycol grease to the sliding part and the seal surface of the slide pin No.2.
- Install the rear disc brake cylinder slide pin No.2.
Torque: 43 N*m (440 kgf*cm, 32 ft.*lbf)
- CONNECT REAR FLEXIBLE HOSE
- Connect the flexible hose with the union bolt and a new gasket.
Torque: 29 N*m (300 kgf*cm, 21 ft.*lbf)
- ADD RESERVOIR WITH BRAKE FLUID (See BLEEDING )
- BLEED REAR BRAKE SYSTEM (See BLEEDING )
- PERFORM ACCUMULATOR ZERO DOWN (See BLEEDING )
- CHECK BRAKE FLUID LEVEL (See BLEEDING )
- INSPECT FOR BRAKE FLUID LEAK
- INSTALL REAR WHEEL
Torque: 103 N*m (1,050 kgf*cm, 76 ft.*lbf)
- CLEAR DTC
