Brake Pedal: Disassembly

  1. REMOVE BRAKE PEDAL STROKE SENSOR ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts and the brake pedal stroke sensor assembly.
  2. REMOVE STOP LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY 
    1. Loosen the stop light switch lock nut and remove the stop light switch assembly from the brake pedal support assembly.

  3. REMOVE BRAKE PEDAL 
    1. Remove the nut, the washer, the bolt and the brake pedal from the brake pedal support assembly.
  4. REMOVE BRAKE PEDAL PAD 
  5. REMOVE STOP LIGHT SWITCH CUSHION 
  6. REMOVE BRAKE PEDAL SHAFT COLLAR 
  7. REMOVE BRAKE PEDAL BUSHING 
    1. Remove the 2 brake pedal bushings from the brake pedal.

  8. REMOVE BRAKE PEDAL SUPPORT 
NOTE: Do not disassembly the upper support portion. If disassembled, be sure to replace it with new parts.
