  1. CLEAR DTC (HV)
    1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
    3. Select the following menu items: DIAGNOSIS / OBD/ MOBD / HV ECU / DTC INFO / CURRENT CODES.
    4. Read and record the DTCs and freeze frame data.
    5. Select the following menu items: DIAGNOSIS / OBD/ MOBD / HV ECU / DTC / CLEAR.
    6. Clear the DTCs. (See DTC CHECK / CLEAR )
  2. READ VALUE OF INTELLIGENT TESTER (SHIFT POSITION)
    1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
    3. Select the following menu items: DIAGNOSIS / OBD/ MOBD / HV ECU / DATA LIST / SHIFT POSITION.
    4. While slowly moving the shift lever from the P to B position, then back to P, read the data list (shift position) displayed on the intelligent tester.

      HINT:

Be sure to slowly move the shift lever.

    NG: GO TO NEXT STEP

  4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH - BODY GROUND)
    1. Disconnect the S35 park/neutral position switch connector.
    2. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
