On-Vehicle Inspection

INSPECT ENGINE OIL PRESSURE SWITCH
1. Disconnect the connector from the engine oil pressure switch.
2. Ground the terminal on the wire harness side, then measure the resistance.
  Standard Resistance:
  
  Engine idling: Below 1 Ω
  
  Engine stopped: 10 kΩ or higher
  
  HINT:
  
  If the value is not as specified, replace the engine oil pressure switch.
