Hydraulic Brake Booster: Inspection

  1. INSPECT BRAKE BOOSTER PUMP ASSEMBLY 
    1. Apply battery voltage to the brake booster pump cables, and check the operation of the pump motor.

      OK 

      TERMINALS VOLTAGE CHART

      Measurement Condition Specified Condition
      Battery positive (+) voltage → Red cable terminal
      Battery negative (-) voltage → Black cable terminal      		 Pump motor operates

      If the result is not as specified, replace the brake booster pump assembly.
