Installation

PARKING BRAKE: PARKING BRAKE CABLE: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL NO. 2 PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY
(a) Install the No. 2 parking brake cable clamp.
(b) Install the No. 2 parking brake cable with the 6 bolts.

Torque: 13 Nm (127 kgf-cm, 9 ft-lbf)
(c) Install the fuel tank Installation.

(d) Attach the claws of the No. 2 parking brake cable.

(e) Connect the No. 2 parking brake cable to the No. 1 parking brake pull rod.
2. INSTALL NO. 3 PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY
(a) Install the No. 3 parking brake cable clamp.
(b) Install the No. 3 parking brake cable with the 6 bolts.

Torque: 13 Nm (127 kgf-cm, 9 ft-lbf)

(d) Connect the No. 3 parking brake cable to the No. 1 parking brake pull rod.
3. CONNECT NO. 3 PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY Reassembly

4. INSTALL PARKING BRAKE SHOE LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Reassembly

5. INSTALL NO. 2 PARKING BRAKE SHOE ASSEMBLY Reassembly

6. INSTALL NO. 1 PARKING BRAKE SHOE ASSEMBLY Reassembly

7. INSTALL PARKING BRAKE SHOE RETURN SPRING Reassembly

8. CHECK PARKING BRAKE INSTALLATION Reassembly

9. INSTALL REAR DISC Installation

10. CONNECT REAR DISC BRAKE CYLINDER ASSEMBLY

(a) Connect the rear disc brake cylinder with 2 new bolts.
Torque: 95 Nm (969 kgf-cm, 70 ft-lbf)
NOTICE:

- Do not twist the brake hose.
- Make sure that the bolts are free from damage and foreign matter.
- Do not overtighten the bolts.

11. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 SUSPENSION CONTROL ACCUMULATOR BRACKET Installation

12. INSTALL HEIGHT CONTROL UNIT PROTECTOR PIPE Installation

13. INSPECT PARKING BRAKE LEVER TRAVEL Adjustments

14. ADJUST PARKING BRAKE LEVER TRAVEL Adjustments

15. INSTALL REAR WHEEL
Torque: 131 Nm (1336 kgf-cm, 97 ft-lbf)
16. INSTALL REAR CONSOLE BOX SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o Cool Box)
(a) Install the rear console box sub-assembly Installation.
17. INSTALL COOLING BOX ASSEMBLY (w/ Cool Box)
(a) Install the cooling box assembly Installation.
18. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Cool Box)
(a) Install the front seat assembly LH Installation.
19. CHARGE REFRIGERANT (w/ Cool Box) Service and Repair

20. WARM UP ENGINE (w/ Cool Box) Service and Repair

21. CHECK FOR REFRIGERANT GAS LEAK (w/ Cool Box) Service and Repair

22. INSTALL UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL (w/ Cool Box) Installation

23. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH (w/ Cool Box) Installation

24. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH (w/ Cool Box) Installation
