Applicability
Introduction
Some vehicles may exhibit an inconsistent brake pedal feel due to the master cylinder reservoir cap venting characteristics. Under specific driving patterns where the brakes are not applied for extended periods the initial brake pedal stroke may be slightly longer than expected. A replacement master cylinder reservoir cap has been made to increase venting for the brake pedal stroke under these specific driving patterns. Follow the Repair Manual for diagnosis of any other concerns including brake performance issues.
