Applicability
Introduction
Some LX 570 vehicles may exhibit a condition where the exterior rear view mirror vibrates while driving. A bolt set is now available to change this condition.

APPLICABLE WARRANTY
^ This repair is covered under the Lexus Comprehensive Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 48 months or 50,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the vehicle's in-service date.
^ Warranty application is limited to occurrence of the specified condition described in this bulletin.
Repair Procedure
HINT
Use same procedure for both sides.
1. Using a plastic pry tool remove the lower base cover from the mirror housing assembly.
2. Remove and replace the 3 torx bolts with the new bolt set.
Torque: 3.7 N*m (37.7 kg.cm, 33 in*lbf)
3. Replace lower base cover with new one provided in bolt set.
4. Road test vehicle to confirm proper operation of mirror assembly.
