Installation

DOOR / HATCH: HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY: INSTALLATION

HINT:
A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart Standard Bolt - Specified Torque For Standard Bolts.

1. INSTALL HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY
(a) Pass the cable into the engine room.
(b) Pass the rear side of the cable through the grommet until the cable stopper is attached to the grommet.
(c) Pass the front side of the cable through the upper radiator support.
(d) Connect the clamps shown in the illustration.





2. INSTALL HOOD LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY






(a) Connect the hood lock control cable and attach the 2 claws to install the hood lock lever.
3. INSTALL FRONT FENDER MAIN SEAL LH






(a) Attach the 3 clips to install the fender main seal.
4. INSTALL HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY






(a) Apply MP grease to the sliding areas of the lock.






(b) Connect the hood lock control cable.
(c) Install the hood lock.






(d) Install the 2 bolts and nut.
Torque: 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 49 in-lbf)
(e) Connect the connector.
5. INSTALL HOOD LOCK NUT CAP






(a) Install a new hood lock nut cap.
6. INSTALL HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE COVER






(a) Attach the claw to install the cable cover.
(b) Install the 3 screws.
7. INSTALL MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System) Installation

8. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE ASSEMBLY Installation

9. ADJUST MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System)
(a) Adjust the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly Adjustments.
10. INSTALL UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL Installation

11. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH Installation

12. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH Installation
