Cooling System (Mechanical): Cooling: Thermostat: Removal

  1. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See REMOVAL )
  2. REMOVE AIR CLEANER INLET COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See REMOVAL )
  3. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET  (See REMOVAL )
  4. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH  (See REMOVAL )
  5. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER  (See REMOVAL )
  6. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT  (See REPLACEMENT  )
  7. REMOVE RADIATOR RESERVOIR ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the 2 reservoir hoses

    2. Remove the 2 bolts and reservoir
  8. DISCONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE 
    1. Disconnect the radiator hose

  9. REMOVE WATER INLET SUB-ASSEMBLY WITH THERMOSTAT 
    1. Remove the 3 nuts, water inlet with thermostat and gasket.
