Fail-Safe Chart

HINT

If the power voltage to the ECU returns to normal within 10 seconds during tilt or telescopic operation, the operation will be resumed. If it returns to normal after 10 seconds have elapsed, the operation restarts when a tilt or telescopic operation signal is again input to the ECU

B2610 Tilt Position Sensor or Tilt Motor Circuit Malfunction Tilt operation is suspended
B2611 Telescopic Position Sensor or Telescopic Motor Circuit Malfunction Telescopic operation is suspended
B2620 ECU Power Source Circuit Malfunction Tilt and telescopic operations is suspended
B2624 Speed Signal Malfunction Auto away and/or auto return function stops

HINT

If the communication of an ECU related to this system is interrupted, the ECU effects the controls listed below (Example: When the windshield wiper switch assembly (combination switch ECU) is defective, manual operation is not available but the auto away/return and position memory functions can operate)
