System Description

  1. LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR OPENER SYSTEM DESCRIPTION 
    1. The luggage compartment door opener is an electric type.
    2. The main body ECU RH (cowl side junction block RH) activates the luggage compartment door lock motor when the ON signal from the luggage compartment door opener inner switch is received.
    3. The luggage compartment door opener main switch operates:
      DOOR LOCK CONDITION CHART

      Opener Main Switch Condition Opener Inner Switch Condition Door Lock Condition Luggage Compartment Door Opener System Condition
      ON (Pushed) ON (Pushed) Lock Does not operate
      ON (Pushed) OFF (Free) Lock Does not operate
      ON (Pushed) ON (Pushed) Unlock Operates
      OFF (Free) ON (Pushed) Unlock Does not operate
  2. FUNCTION OF MAIN COMPONENTS

    Component Function
    Luggage Compartment Door Lock Motor Operates when signals from main body ECU RH (cowl side junction block RH) are received
    Luggage Compartment Door Opener Inner Switch When luggage door opener inner switch is pushed, opener inner switch ON signal is sent to main body ECU RH (cowl side junction block RH)
    Luggage Compartment Door Opener Main Switch When luggage door opener main switch is pushed, opener switch ON signal is sent to main body ECU RH (cowl side junction block RH)
    Main Body ECU RH (Cowl Side junction block RH) When luggage door opener switch is turned ON, main body ECU RH (cowl side junction block RH) receives opener switch ON signals When luggage door opener main switch is turned ON, main body ECU RH (cowl side junction block RH) receives opener main switch ON signals
