Park / Neutral Position Switch: Removal

  1. DISCONNECT FLOOR SHIFT GEAR SHIFTING ROD SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See REMOVAL  )
  2. REMOVE PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the park/neutral position switch connector.

    2. Remove the nut and transmission control shaft lever RH.

    3. Using a screwdriver, pry out the lock washer.

    4. Remove the lock nut and lock washer.

    5. Remove the bolt and park/neutral position switch.
