Inspection Procedure

NOTE: When the seat belt control ECU is replaced with a new one, Initialization must be performed (See INITIALIZATION ).

CHECK DTC OUTPUT (CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM)
1. Clear the DTC s (See DTC CHECK / CLEAR ).
2. Recheck for DTC s.
  OK: DTC U1101 is not output.
NG: GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM (See HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING )

OK: Go to next Step
CHECK DTC OUTPUT (DYNAMIC RADAR CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEM)
1. Clear the DTC s (See DTC CHECK / CLEAR )
2. Turn the cruise control main switch on
3. Drive the vehicle at a speed of 45 km/h (27 mph) or more
4. Recheck for DTC s
  OK: DTC P1570 is not output.
NG: GO TO DYNAMIC RADAR CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEM (See DTC P1570 RADAR SENSOR MALFUNCTION )

OK: Go to next Step
CHECK DTC OUTPUT (PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM)
1. Clear the DTC s (See DTC CHECK / CLEAR )
2. Recheck for DTC s
  OK: DTC B2055 is not output.
NG: REPLACE SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU (See SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU )

OK: CHECK FOR INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS (SYMPTOM SIMULATION) (See HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING )
