Terminals Of Ecu

  1. CHECK SLIDING ROOF DRIVE GEAR SUB-ASSEMBLY (SLIDING ROOF ECU) 
    1. Disconnect the R6 ECU connector.

    2. Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
      RESISTANCE AND VOLTAGE SPECIFICATION

      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      R6-5 (B) - R6-7 (E) L - W-B +B Power supply Always 11 to 14 V
      R6-6 (IG) - R6-7 (E) V - W-B Engine switch power supply Engine switch off Below 1 V
      R6-6 (IG) - R6-7 (E) V - W-B Engine switch power supply Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      R6-7 (E) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side

    3. Reconnect the R6 ECU connector
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below
      VOLTAGE SPECIFICATION

      R6-2 (CHK) - R6-7 (E) LG - W-B Sliding roof motor auto operation Engine switch on (IG), sliding roof switch pushed Below 1 V
      R6-2 (CHK) - R6-7 (E) LG - W-B Sliding roof motor auto operation Engine switch on (IG), sliding roof switch not pushed 11 to 14 V
      R6-9 (OPN) - R6-7 (E) B - W-B Sliding roof motor open Engine switch off, sliding roof switch position [1], [2], [3], [8], [9], [10] Below 1 V
      R6-9 (OPN) - R6-7 (E) B - W-B Sliding roof motor open Engine switch on (IG), sliding roof switch position [1], [2], [3], [8], [9], [10] 11 to 14 V
      R6-8 (CLS) - R6-7 (E) SB - W-B Sliding roof motor close Engine switch off, sliding roof switch position [1], [2], [3], [4], [5] Below 1 V
      R6-8 (CLS) - R6-7 (E) SB - W-B Sliding roof motor close Engine switch on (IG), sliding roof switch position [1], [2], [3], [4], [5] 11 to 14 V
      R6-3 (UP) - R6-7 (E) O - W-B Sliding roof motor up Engine switch off, sliding roof switch position [1], [5], [6], [10] Below 1 V
      R6-3 (UP) - R6-7 (E) O - W-B Sliding roof motor up Engine switch on (IG), sliding roof switch position [1], [5], [6], [10] 11 to 14 V
      R6-4 (DWN) - R6-7 (E) Y - W-B Sliding roof motor down Engine switch off, sliding roof switch position [3], [4], [5], [6], [7], [8] Below 1 V
      R6-4 (DWN) - R6-7 (E) Y - W-B Sliding roof motor down Engine switch on (IG), sliding roof switch position [3], [4], [5], [6], [7], [8] 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, the ECU or sliding roof switch may be malfunctioning.
