Front Passenger Seat Belt Warning Light: Inspection

  1. INSPECT CLOCK ASSEMBLY (w/ Navigation System) 
    1. Remove the clock assembly with the connector still connected (See REMOVAL ).
    2. Apply battery voltage from the wire harness back side between the terminals of the indicator, and check the lighting condition of the front passenger side seat belt warning light.

      Standard 

      STANDARD REFERENCE

      Measurement Condition Specified Condition
      Battery position(+) → Terminal J53-11 (IG+)
      Battery position (-) → Terminal J53-8 (PBEW)
      Front passenger side seat belt light comes on

  2. INSPECT INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY (w/o Navigation System) 
    1. Remove the integration control and panel assembly with the connector still connected (See REMOVAL ).
    2. Apply battery voltage from the wire harness back side between the terminals of the indicator, and check the lighting condition of the front passenger side seat belt warning light.

      Standard 

      STANDARD REFERENCE

      Measurement Condition Specified Condition
      Battery position(+) → Terminal J54-4 (IG+)
      Battery position(-) → Terminal J54-13 (PBEW)
      Front passenger side seat belt light comes on
