On-Vehicle Inspection

  1. INSPECT FRONT WIPER MOTOR 
    1. Operate the front wiper motor.
    2. Stop the front wiper motor operation.
    3. Check the automatic stop position

      OK: The front wipers stop at the positions shown in the illustration. 

      AREA MEASUREMENT CHART

      Area Measurement
      A 15 to 30 mm (0 591 to 1 18 in)
      B Approx 40 mm (1 57 in)
      C 18 5 to 33 5 mm (0 728 to 1 32 in)
      D Approx 20 mm (0 787 in)

      If the result is not as specified, the front wiper motor may have a malfunction
