INSPECT STEREO COMPONENT SPEAKER

HINT:

Remove interior parts so that the stereo component speaker can be seen

Check the speaker installation.
OK: The speaker is securely installed.

If the result is not as specified, reinstall the stereo component speaker
Visually check the speaker
OK: The cone paper of the speaker is not torn.

If the result is not as specified, replace the stereo component speaker.

Speaker resistance check

Disconnect the stereo component speaker connector

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

NOTE: The speaker should not be removed for checking.

Standard Resistance:

w/ Front Center Speaker

RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
3-4	Always	7 to 8.6 Ω

w/o Front Center Speaker

RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
1-3	Always	1.6 to 2.4 Ω
2-4	Always	1.6 to 2.4 Ω

If the result is not as specified, replace the stereo component speaker

INSPECT REAR STEREO COMPONENT SPEAKER (w/ Front Center Speaker)
HINT.

Remove interior parts so that the rear stereo component speaker can be seen
1. Check the speaker installation.
  OK: The speaker is securely installed.
  
  If the result is not as specified, reinstall the rear stereo component speaker.
2. Visually check the speaker
  OK: The cone paper of the speaker is not torn.
  
  If the result is not as specified, replace the rear stereo component speaker.
